Paris being on the oceanic part has an oceanic climate. The oceanic climate has adequate climates of both the warm and cold months. Paris doesn’t experience any extremities of its weather; it won’t experience extreme rise and low of its temperature.  They have a mild weather, its summers don’t experience too much humidity, and they don’t expect too much dryness with its summer and during winter rarely do they experience snow fall and if they do it does not stay too long on the ground, although its weather is mild but it does rain often in Paris even on summer.

Spring time in Paris is on the months of March to May. It has a kind weather and usually the temperature doesn’t drop below four degrees Celsius. The summer months in Paris are on the months of June to August and its summer is cooler than the other countries in Europe.  Its autumn is on the months of September to November; its temperature will drop by the time it is November, since winter is approaching. And its winter months are on the months of December to February, its winter is not that harsh, it is warmer than most of the other countries have in Europe. Paris does not experience snow, when it does it is very rare. The coldest months of this city are the months of January and February but the temperature does not really drop below the freezing point that often. 

Paris is located on the European time zone; it is Greenwich Mean Time is of +1hours. And is also part of the Central European Time. The daylight savings are set on the month of October in Paris, this is when they set the local time backwards for one hour and they set it forward for an hour on the month of March.

Paris is the fashion capital of Europe; this is best known for its famous designers, its shopping districts and of course fashion. Shopping here is heaven; they have here the best buys that any tourist would want. They don’t only have the best designer labels but also have everything you want to have you can find all kinds of shops here; you can also find some flea markets which you can buy some cheaper items. It is a matter on where you shop; they have everything here for everyone’s taste.

If you want to buy some designer clothes and shoes you can find one of these famous shops at the Avenue Montaigne, La Samaritaine and the Boulevard Haussmann. In these places you can check out some of the stores where it sells designer bags, shoes, clothes and many more. You can find some quality home supplies, such as lighting and parts.  If you love books and would want to buy one, you can check out the Les Bouquinistes near the Seine River, though shopping books here in France are a bit expensive. You can also buy books at their famous English bookstore the Brentano’s and the Shakespeare and Co. You can also find some flea markets here. You can find these flea markets along the old part of the city. You can find these flea markets at the Porte de Clignancourt and the Porte de Montreuil. Aside from the flea markets, you can also find plenty of open markets; Paris can have more than fifty markets around the city. Here you can buy clothes, pets, locally produce flowers, and many others. They are open every seven in the morning and closes at one in the afternoon, everyday except for Mondays.

If you want to buy something from the designer labels and expensive shops in Paris, you can actually get them cheaper if you come here during the time they will have a sale on their items, they have thirty to fifty percent discounts on their items on the months of January and July.

Paris as you all knows the ones who made the cafes famous. When you talk about Paris, you know that they have good food and wine and fine dining. The bistros or cafes are the ones that are popular in Paris. Although Paris cuisines have been diverse, there have been Asian cuisines and African cuisines that you can see around the city but still most of the cafes and restaurants here still, have cuisines which still have a French twist to it. Here are some of the best restaurants and bistros where you will find in Paris.

The famous bistro that you will find in Paris is the Chez Dumonet – Josephine. This is a national monument for the Parisian; this is the representation of how the old cafes are in Paris. They have here the authentic French food and also have the best and its interiors which of from the 1930s. Its specialty here is the boeuf bourguignon, foie gras and the dessert millefeuille. This café is located at the Rue du Cherche-Midi. They are only open during weekdays, Mondays to Fridays and closes on Saturdays and Sundays. The Aux Lyonnais, this is also a bistro that is also one of Paris best bistros, this is famous for the lightness cooking, their menus here includes the frogs’ legs and some dumplings and they have the wines here from the Lyon region. The Lyon region in France has a variety of fine wines. They are only open Tuesdays to Saturdays and are close on Sundays and Mondays. You can find this bistro somewhere the Rue St. Marc. On the other hand if you want to dine and experience a romantic ambiance, try the Restaurant du Palais-Royal. They have the best risottos here and the steak frites and other fish dishes, but their menus here do change seasonally. There is also the Willi’s Wine Bar, this bar has the widest selection of British wines, so if you want to dine and drink British wines.

Paris has many festivals that are being celebrated in almost all of the places in Paris and they have celebrations every month.

In the month of March, there are a lot of activities such as the Festival Exit; this is a festival where they celebrate the contemporary arts and the theater. Also the international jazz festival is also celebrated on this month, the Banlieues Bleus and the Women’s Film Festival.

In the month of April, they have the Marathon du Paris.  An international event where it is celebrated it annually here in Paris. The organization for this event has already some of the hotels in Paris that you can let them book for you if you are going to join the marathon. In the month of June, there are plenty of festivals that are being celebrated; there is the Festival Agora, the feast of St. Jean, Festival du Chopin, the Villette Jazz Festival, and the Gay parade and so on. The Festival Agora is a festival of theater, music and dance by the association Pompidou Centre. This promotes the cultural arts of Paris. They also celebrate the feast day of St. Jean; they give importance to music and arts that is why there is the Festival du Chopin, where they have these piano recitals, some jazz music, the jazz festival also this month, the Villette Jazz Festival and also the poetry exhibition festival, the Foire St-Germain.

In July, the event that is celebrated here is the Tour de France, which lasts for three to four weeks. This is an event for the cycling professionals. They also have this grape festival being celebrated on the month of October, the Fete de Vendanges and on the month of November, they have an exhibition of photos taken by professional photographers and photo enthusiasts. 

Paris, full of cultural and historical heritage, the Parisians still values the music and arts of yesterday and today. They celebrate festivities annually. They give significance to its arts and music and to the other events that are to be celebrated, like the gay parade, the Marathon du Paris and so on.
